The Graphic Designer is the visual storyteller for New Benefits, our products and services, and our brands with the purpose of creating innovative, results-driven content. As the Graphic Designer, you are responsible for creating original design that grabs the attention of the target audience across a variety of mediums including emails, advertising, flyers, brochures, presentations, signage, web forms, landing pages, logos, and other digital and print materials.
Build and manage flexible design templates with proper layering and labeling
Know how to work with pre-made templates from sites such as envato.com
Develop a strong understanding of New Benefits' products and value proposition for various audiences including prospects, clients, and consumers
Design compelling, modern, and unique marketing pieces to promote the sale of New Benefits' products and services
Collaborate with the Marketing Team (VP of Marketing, Creative Lead, and Copywriter) to produce cohesive and valuable deliverables
Present ideas and concepts to the Creative Lead and VP of Marketing for final sign-off and approval
Adhere to brand standards
Translate industry-related data and topics into engaging visuals and graphics
Manage our marketing asset library and keep files updated based on compliance and vendor changes and requirements
Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies to maintain current design skills and gain knowledge of new and innovative tools
Actively contribute to New Benefits' culture and embrace our core values in every aspect of your work and behavior

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Guru with character and paragraph styles in InDesign
Expert in the Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
Portfolio of work required
2+ Years of proven graphic design experience
2+ Years of experience developing new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
Ability to provide high quality assurance on all design-related deliverables
Strong time and project management skills to ensure deadlines are met on or before schedule
Bachelor's Degree in Design, Marketing, Advertising and/or equivalent work experience
Demonstrable mastery of visual design principles including but not limited to typography, color theory, layout, grids, perspective and space relationships, photography, iconography, and illustration
Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team and incorporate feedback from various audiences
Ability to research design and creative solutions across industries and audiences to incorporate into creative campaigns
Ability to collaborate, communicate, adapt, and present ideas
Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
Thorough understanding of the printing process, including large format
Manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, coordinate multiple deadlines and ability to produce projects from concept to final design
Fluency with industry standard graphic design
Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail
Video creation and editing experience preferred
Ability to talk or hear, both in person and by telephone
Good visual acuity
Capable of reaching with arms and hands, as well as lifting up to 25 pounds
Must be able to perform work at a computer terminal between 6-8 hours a day, and function in an environment with interruptions
